KSLA has proclaimed April as Families and Reading Month! The Families and Reading Committee creates and disseminates resources to educators, and ultimately families, to promote literacy opportunities in the home during the month of April. We encourage you to promote April as Families and Reading Month by clicking on the links below to access these free resources. The family packet includes an explanation of April as Families and Reading Month as well as resources to locate books and calendars full of engaging literacy activities for primary, intermediate, and middle school students.
